To carry out the research in the CAO Programme, scientific cruises are essential to collect data on changes in the Arctic Ocean and samples for later analysis in the laboratory. The first CAO cruise took place in July/August 2017 and went to the Barents Sea. More cruises are planned for 2018 and 2019.
