The Programme Advisory Group (PAG) is chaired by Professor David Thomas, Bangor University, and has five members. All are international experts in various aspects of Arctic research related to the Programme’s goals.

The PAG have several tasks, amongst which a key responsibility is advising on the strategic direction of the Programme to make sure the science carried out targets the greatest challenges facing the Arctic. The PAG also advises on activities to develop international collaboration that will increase and strengthen the links between the UK and other countries involved in Arctic research. As the Programme unfolds and develops, the PAG will be monitoring and evaluating the progress of all projects within the Programme to ensure they are working effectively towards their purpose and stated goals.

More information on each member of the PAG is available below.
